"Nei Hua"

"Nei Hua" is the ancient Chinese art of painting glass from the inside, which dates back to the early 1800's, and it was the original technique used for painting glass snuff bottles.

The process begins by frosting the inside of the glass ball, the artist paints the outlines of the picture, who then creates the painting by inserting a miniature brush with a bent tip, through the small at the top of the ball. Each color is methodically paired one by one in layers finishing the background.

It takes two years to teach every artist to paint such intricate designs and no two pieces are ever completely alike.

These unique ornaments each come in their own fabric lined gift box, and make special gifts for both family & friends.
